Art Class With Shawn Dell Joyce In-Person
Animal Portraits is the theme for this class. Choose a pet, or animal of your choice. This class will use a "paint by numbers" style of painting. You will learn how to transfer a black and white image to another surface and from there create a colorful portrait. We will be meeting on zoom with Artist Shawn Dell Joyce. Materials List:
Photo of animal printed in black and white, the same size as the surface (your choice paper or canvas) you are painting on.
Painting surface: If you choose paper you will be using either watercolor, colored pencils, crayon or pastel. If you choose canvas you will use oil or acrylic paints.
Colors needed: Any type of watercolor, pastel, paint. Must include red, yellow,blue, black & white.
Brushes if using paint.
Piece of charcoal or pastel needed to transfer image.
Pencil, cup with water, and a piece of paper towel.
Attached is a color chart you will need to refer to.
